BSA - Dyomics 547Description
Bovine serum albumin (BSA) is a 66 kDa globular protein
abundant in the blood. Albumins contain high affinity binding
sites for many cellular metabolites such as long chain fatty
acids, vitamins, hormones and metal ions and deliver them to the
cells by passage from the capillary lumen through the
endothelium into the intersticial space. Fluorescence conjugates
of albumin are used not only to reveal the physiology of albumin
within the tissues, but above all as probes to study various
types of endocytosis.
The reagent is intended for investigation of endocytosis and endocytic recycling pathways in mammals. Format/Formulation
Lyophilized
